The Gustave Stickley workshop (1858-1942) produced many copper plates and plaques. This plate has been in my archives for over 20 years and is looking for a new home! 12.75" wideStickley was recognized as an originator of American Craftsman-style design and was famous for his quarter-sawn oak furniture and metalwork.

Antonio Ziranda has done a beautiful interpretation of a circa 1910 Manual Arts Studio vase. The Manual Arts Studio was located in the backyard of none other than Ernest A. Batcheldor, Pasadena, California. The Studio was part of the distinctive Californa-style Arts and Crafts movement and was a direct pushback against mass industrialization and factory manufacturing, also known as "Hand, Head, and Heart". This philosophy believed that everyday functional objects should also be beautiful, individual pieces of art. This style features bold, simple shapes and included motifs such as floral accents and patterns inspired by plants and nature.
