NEW! Antonio Ziranda has done a beautiful interpretation of a circa 1910 Manual Arts Studio vase. The Manual Arts Studio was located in the backyard of none other than Ernest A. Batcheldor, Pasadena, California. The Studio was part of the distinctive Californa-style Arts and Crafts movement and was a direct pushback against mass industrialization and factory manufacturing, also known as "Hand, Head, and Heart". This philosophy believed that everyday functional objects should also be beautiful, individual pieces of art. This style features bold, simple shapes and included motifs such as floral accents and patterns inspired by plants and nature.

In 2024 Antonio Ziranda created this striking vase for Cobre's 30th anniversary. The fish motif is inspired by "Pescado Blanco" (white fish), a Michoacan delicacy. Lake Patzcuaro is near Antonio's village and home to Pescado Blanco. The flora and fauna of the lake have been a source of inspiration for centuries to potters, weavers, woodcarvers and of course, coppersmiths! Antonio's rendition is substantial and bold - copperwork at its best. We have JUST TWO!
