Baumann was active in the era before photo-reproduction replaced wood engraving. He was active in the Chicago and Indiana countryside until he took a trip to Taos, NM......which then became home. He lived in the Santa Fe area for more than 50 years carving into wood southwestern landscapes and spring and summer gardens and orchards. His prints are awash in brilliant, hand-ground pigments. This open edition lithograph was inspired by Baumann's 1927 color woodcut, "Indiana Red Gum". We have just TWO!

The long, dark nights this time of year are a good time to burrow with your favorite books and what better way to keep them all together than our Jarvie-style bookends! Scotsman Robert Jarvie (1865-1941) was an active artist and designer during the early 20th century Arts and Crafts movement. He created this design between 1905-1912 in his Chicago Illinois workshop. Anselmo has beautifully articulated the leaf in repousse' and contrasted the leaf's smooth surface with a heavily textured background.

In 2024 Antonio Ziranda created this striking vase for Cobre's 30th anniversary. The fish motif is inspired by "Pescado Blanco" (white fish), a Michoacan delicacy. Lake Patzcuaro is near Antonio's village and home to Pescado Blanco. The flora and fauna of the lake have been a source of inspiration for centuries to potters, weavers, woodcarvers and of course, coppersmiths!
